Overview Of The Fathers Rights Movement

The fathers’ rights movement is alternately characterized as either a civil rights movement and/or a social movement which is primarily concerned with issues facing fathers and children. Most of these issues are considered under family law, often dealing with controversial institutions such as child support and child custody and advocating for the legal rights of fathers.

In recent years, the fathers’ rights movement has become increasingly vocal as frustration over the slow pace of reform mounts. Protests and gatherings both in the real world and online have drawn attention to the efforts of fathers’ rights activists.

Accident Solicitors - You Should Keep Away From

If you just had an accident, who did you call up first? Most people would say ‘doctor’ or ’spouse’. Rarely do people think of accident solicitors. Understandably, the last thing on your mind after an accident is a bunch of “black suits.” This is because most people do not understand the importance of skilled solicitors.

S-corporation - Making The Election

Once you decide to form a corporation for your business entity, you will quickly be faced with another question. Should the corporation pay taxes as a “C” or “S” corporation?

There is a lot of confusion when it comes to the tax designation of a corporate entity. The first thing to understand is a corporation is a “C” designation by default. As a “C” entity, the corporation will file and pay its own taxes with profits and salaries being paid out to employees and shareholders. Since the employees and shareholders have to pay personal taxes on the distributions, “C” corporations are considered double taxation entities. This is generally viewed as a negative thing.

Uk Planning Gain Supplement Explained

Planning Gain Supplement (PGS) is a proposal for a fixed levy on the enhanced land value after it receives planning permission. It is the Government’s intention to move forward with this new land tax if, after further consultation, it continues to be deemed workable and effective and PGS will then come into force in 2009. The property industry is firmly against the implementation of PGS and there was qualified support for an extended role of S106 Agreements.

Calculating PGS

Below is how we expect PGS to be calculated with an example to illustrate.

Naturalization In The United States

Naturalization is the act whereby an individual voluntarily and actively acquires citizenship, which is not his or her citizenship at birth. Naturalization is mostly common among migrants who have immigrated to a country and have willingly chosen to become a citizen of that country after meeting specific requirements.

The basic requirements for naturalization are full-time residency for a minimum period as required by the law, and a pledge to uphold that country’s laws. In the United States, the Congress has the authority to prescribe a uniform rule of naturalization that is overseen by state courts. State court refers to any court of law having common-law jurisdiction and a clerk and seal.

A Model Not To Live By - The Last Will And Testament

The death of Anna Nicole Smith has at least one valuable outcome, even if it is simply serving as a model of what happens if you die intestate, i. e. without a last will and testament.

One immediate point to take here, by the way, is the youth and vitality of the deceased. Few people who knew her, or knew about her, would have believed on that February morning that later that day they would hear that she was dead.

Wasn’t there something about, “Ye know not the day nor the hour”?
